Dr. Naved Malek is working as an Associate professor at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Institute with National Importance in India. He is also the Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry, UK. He is a Visiting Professor at University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and also a TWAS Visiting Expert. He is leading Ionic Liquid Research Laboratory (ILRL), where his group work on designing tailor-made Ionic Liquids and Deep Eutectic Solvents for various applications including Drug Delivery, Cellulose Dissolution and Enhanced oil Recovery. His work was funded by various funding agencies including Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), UGC-DAE-CSR and FAPESP, São Paulo Research Foundation He has more than 17 – years of experience. He is a co-author of 5 book chapters and 130 research papers in the journals of international repute and has more than 2300 citations with h-index of 29 and i10-index of 71.
